Katie's friend Emily, 02 Jun 2008
I bought this dolly for my daughter Katie who was at the time just two months ols but is now four months and she absolutely loves her! Emily is well loved and chewed almost everyday. The teething rings are a blessing and when we eventually found the squeak Katie would not let her go. Purcahse with confindence your baby will love it too!
A wonderful friend, 28 Feb 2008
I have just bought this for my 9 month old daughter and she hasn't wanted to put it down since. She loves the textures and crinkle sounds that it makes. She also enjoys playing with the rattely 'necklace' it is wearing (don't worry, not a real one that comes off or poses any danger). The rings on it are also good for a teething child.
My main reason for purchasing this was that I wanted something I could attach to her buggy after having already lost one dolly and nearly loosing a teddy. It is perfect for this and the other good bits are a bonus.

My daughter has written this review:
I have two Fluffy Go Walkies and I love them. I play with them in my house. I love the lead that lights up it is so cool and I connect them together. It is a good idea that it does this. It is very fluffy. My mum likes this too.
Down sides- Fluffy does not walk very quickly. I have two as my Daddy accidentally sat on the first and damaged it, so it does not walk properly, and had to buy a second. This is not the toys fault but do treat it with care. Not really suited for walking outside.

Product Description
The hug and learn Baby Tad will become a firm favourite with your child as they can play in the day and take to bed for cuddles at night. In daytime mode just press the sun on Tads hand to hear 6 familiar and fun songs to sing along to. Press the shapes on Tads tummy and hear him tell you the name and colour of it. The flashing shapes on Tad follow each tune. When its time for bed after a hard days play press the nighttime stars on Tads other hand and it will play up to 6 minutes of classical tunes from Mozart, Beethoven and more. You can choose from 1 to 6 minutes of musical play by simply pressing Tads hand the required number of times. Also for those extra cuddly times just press the lips on the side of Tads face and be greeted with a fun I Love You and a kissWhat better way is there to introduce a child to learning? Baby Tad is an adorable, soft and cuddly frog who talks and sings and teaches shapes, colours and songs at the same time. He comes brightly coloured with flashing lights, friendly smiley face and a high, chirpy voice and sings six well-known and well-loved songs, including "Hickory Dickory Dock", "If You're Happy and You Know it Clap Your Hands", "Itsy Bitsy Spider", "Oh Where, Oh Where has my Little Dog Gone?", "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and "Baa Baa Black Sheep". Turn him on and he'll say "Hi I'm Baby Tad, Lets Sing" and begin his enthusiastic play. In "Daytime" play mode, babies can press the smiley shapes on his bib has six buttons for a response. Babies are encouraged to press the button which is lit, and are rewarded with enthusiastic greetings and songs. Baby Tad also says cute phrases that babies will love at random times, such as "Peekaboo, I see you" and "Lets Snuggle". Press, or kiss the pink lip button on his cheek and Baby Tad kisses back, saying "mmmwahh, I love you!" Possibly the most useful feature on the new and improved Baby Tad is the brand new "Night-time" phrase, a brilliant idea for babies who like familiar songs to go to sleep to. This mode is calming rather than interactive. Baby Tad can be programmed play up to six minutes of soothing classical music and lights, simply by pressing his hand, once, twice, and so on, up to six times for six minutes. He will announce "one minute to night night, two minutes to night night" etc: and the music then plays for the allotted time and stops without ceremony, a comforting series of tunes which will help lull little ones to sleep. While using the toy, children can develop perceptual and reasoning skills; motor skills are also enhanced as children physically push a flashing shape, song and "kiss" buttons. Playing with Baby Tad also provides opportunities for exploration, creativity and social development, all necessary ingredients for children's learning. The toy is accompanied by an excellent parents' guide and instruction manual which is straightforward and easy to follow, has a handy volume control on the battery box and comes complete with three AA batteries. This toy is recommended by the manufacturer for toddlers aged nine months and over. --Susan Naylor

a real hit with the baby, 03 Sep 2008
This doll has a rattle and a teathing toy attatched. I bought one for my neice at 4 months and one for my friends girl at 12 months. both love it. much better value then ones bouth from mother care elc........ it is reasuring that the packaging clearly displays the safety checks and standards
Another good quality product from Lamaze
It is great, 28 May 2008
My daughter has written this review:
I have two Fluffy Go Walkies and I love them. I play with them in my house. I love the lead that lights up it is so cool and I connect them together. It is a good idea that it does this. It is very fluffy. My mum likes this too.
Down sides- Fluffy does not walk very quickly. I have two as my Daddy accidentally sat on the first and damaged it, so it does not walk properly, and had to buy a second. This is not the toys fault but do treat it with care. Not really suited for walking outside.
I LOVE YOU!, 16 Jan 2008
OUR 5 MONTH OLD SON WAS BOUGHT TAD FOR CHRISTMAS AND HE LOVES TO LAY AND WATCH THE SHAPES LIGHT UP WHEN HE IS GOING TO SLEEP AND THE SOOTHING MUSIC IS PLAYING HIS ELDER BROTHER AND SISTER ALSO SEEM TO ENJOY IT !
We love Baby Tad!, 30 Dec 2007
My brother bought my little 3 month old Baby Tad with a view it is a toy he can enjoy as he gets older, and although he can not press the buttons himself yet his eyes light up when we play with Baby Tad together. I am sure that we will get many more months/years of fun!
Baby Tad Rocks, 28 Oct 2007
This little Dude ROCKS. This was a present from my brother for my 18 month old daughter. The colours are bright and the music whilst annoying for parents is great for kids. The little button on the cheek makes a kissing sound which my daughter enjoys pressing again and again. All in all a great toy.
Finally my little one goes to sleep without crying!, 12 May 2007
Tad has been a real life saver in our house. My little one loves Tad and goes to sleep with his hand on him, it's very cute.
As to previous reviews, Tad must have been updated because mine speaks with a British accent and you can also turn down the volume on the battery compartment at the back.
We love you Baby Tad, 16 Oct 2006
What can I say about Baby Tad? Just a gorgeous toy that made both my girls smile. Hard for them to press the buttons when they were small, but thats what mummys for.
A favourite with both of them. My older daughter is two and a half and still loves him.

This toy is a must have for any Elmer fan....my sons have really enjoyed cuddling him during Elmer story time. Elmer's bright colours are great for teaching or reinforcing colour recognition too!
brilliant, 09 Jun 2008
my son was bought this as a pressy. it smells of white chocolate, each leg squeeks and you get a "song"book with it so when you squeeze the legs in a certain order you can make a song. the ears crincle.it always makes my son laugh, he's 8 months old now. i attatch it to the cot, not only does it give him something to play with it makes the room smell nice too! i love it. and when my son figures out how to make it squeek i'm sure he'll love it even more. overall a brilliant toy! plus, not many ppl have these lAMAZE toys, so a great pressy for a newborn.
Dora, 22 Jan 2008
Bought this Dora for my daughter, she loves it and she is only 2 years old. It is just the right size for her and bigger than i thought it would be. The hair on Dora's head is lovely and soft and so is the rest of the toy and solid for a beanie. Also colourful and with a backpack which is a must for any Dora fan. If you are not wanting a big size Dora for your little person to carry around with them then this is the one for you to buy.

Disappointing, 02 Mar 2008
We bought dancing Iggle-Piggle for our little boy for Christmas and like others we were disappointed. There is supposedly some kind of sensor in Iggle-Piggles hand that recognises that he has his blanket - this didn't work on ours, it didn't work on the second one we exchanged it for either! This coupled with the painfully slow reaction times and the uncuddliness of Iggle-Piggle meant he went back to the shop. Can't say we are missing him!
Not a hit in our house!!, 14 Feb 2008
We bought this for our daughter for Christmas thinking she would be delighted as she is a huge In the Night Garden fan. We were sadly disappointed, Iggle Piggle does not hold her attention and he has sat gathering dust in her room! A complete waste of money! The interaction part is very slow and his jerky movements are not entertaining enough. Thankfully she has a collection of the plush characters which she plays with daily, I wish we had just stuck to those!
Behold the motorised blanket loving blue one!, 07 Feb 2008
My daughter loves this toy - but the truth is, she's love the cheaper less functional more cuddly one just as much. The box boasts it has ten games, but they've never been played. She likes to push the button and listen to the music/talking, but like I say, the Iggle Piggle which is half the price of this one does that - it just doesn't move!
So, in a nutshell: This is a good toy, but I feel it's a bit pricey for what it is, especially when the added functions this one has maybe won't seem as exciting to your child as they seem on the box! But if you love the sound of a motor turning over for a few seconds before Iggle Piggle does anything - this is perfect! ;o)
Very durable, 12 Jan 2008
My 20 month old daughter loves this toy. She loves pressing the button to make him talk and putting his blanket in his hand when he asks her to. I was a bit frightened that she was too rough with it as she hugs him and bends his arms back. So far he's stood up to all the abuse and still hugs his blanket despite the fact that she trys to break his arm! I think its very well made and she wouldn't be without him.
iggle piggle.... , 12 Dec 2007
Great fun toy. sings, looks for his blanket and is good fun. If your Lo loves INTG they'll love this.
Wouldn't pay the inflated prices here though

Bought this along with the other characters, my daughter likes it but not as much as ... makkha pakkha... obviously! but bought it at discount price and was pleased that my daughter acknowledges it to be upsy daisy. havent noticed any problems with the skirt, and it has been played with a lot. good buy as a cuddly cute toy.
Where's Upsy Daisy's brown face gone?, 17 Dec 2007
In the TV series, Upsy Daisy clearly has a brown face. So unless there is a mistake with the photo of the toy featured here, this is not the real Upsy Daisy!
My lass loves it, 10 Dec 2007
Not sure where reviewer earlier got £30 for as they retail at £5, same as a Disney soft toy of the same size so not really over priced for what it is.
My child loves it. It's been everywhere with her, chewed over, wiped with a cloth as she was fed dinner and it's survived. My lass is 16 months old and obsessed with ITNG and she loves this. No educational value at all but great fun and snuggly
Over priced night garden xxxx, 28 Nov 2007
They are cute but not £30 worth cute ! again we are duped by the consumer market as X mas nears. They will be half price on E bay in Jan and at car boots the Jan after, Why not spend your money taking your kids out for the day with a camera and their old inexpensive toys that they love photo them every where with the toy ( like on the advert) they love it.
Good toys but serverly overpriced
Thank you grumpy Sarah
NEEDLE AND COTTON ANYBODY?, 13 Sep 2007
Bought this for my little girl which was so over priced you would expect it to talk back to you. It doesn't do anything just a comfort at bedtime but I noticed the dress is falling apart already when it is not even a week old. I hope a member of In The Night Garden promotion team is reading these reviews people are leaving about the range that is available to buy because most of it is poor and over priced. You want to try and give the paying customer a little back in the making the toys of a higher standard so they last alot longer.

Good toy - if you have a neverending supply of batteries!, 09 Jul 2008
We received this toy as a gift for my son for Christmas. He only really started paying it any attention recently (he's now almost 2) as he can mimick the actions and sounds.
One downside of this toy is that each leg of Tigger takes 3 AA batteries - and the 6 batteries required in total don't last long! We have found after the first set of batteries we've never bothered replacing them as our son has more favoured toys that we'd rather invest 'battery money' in!
I think the adults were more entertained by this toy at Xmas than our toddler to be honest.
Tigger, 07 Jul 2008
I've had 2 of these now and both have just stopped working after a couple of months. Great fun when it works but not very durable.
Fun for two minutes - then irritating, 29 Feb 2008
My baby son was bought this by his grandparents for Christmas. It was quite amusing for a few minutes. The older kids laughed at it tumbling. But then it kept falling over and getting stuck. After an hour or two it gave up the ghost. We didn't get a replacement, but swapped it for a toy garage, which is still being played with.
I would say for the money, it's an expensive two minute wonder.
this toy is faulty, 11 Nov 2007
my boyfriend bought our daughter this and she absolutly loved it she was 14 months old when we bought it and everytime she sees it she points and moans untill i put it on, but recently he stopped working so we changed the batteries but nothing happend!!!! this is such a dissapointment because we only had it less than two months, now when she sees it she points and puts it on my knee and i have to try and explain that he is poorly! i am hoping that it will work again one day but i am not going to hold my breath
Impressive - but only for a few minutes!, 07 Nov 2007
This was one of those toys I was really looking forward to seeing at Christmas, and I thought my little girl would love it. However, the truth is that watching Tigger perform his headstands is highly amusing for the first few times, but it eventually wears a bit thin. Everyone we have shown this toy to has been initially really impressed with it, and then once you realise that there's very little play value - it tends to get left.
Also - it's not flawless, and on an annoyingly regular basis it falls on it's side and shakes with the strain of trying to do it's pre-programmed moves whilst not in the correct position. Watching Tigger have a fit isn't really what I expected when I bought this toy!
The sounds are good, the voice and music isn't tinny and inaudible, it's one of the best sounding kids toys I've heard. It seems pretty well built too and is nice and bright.
In a nutshell - it looks good and sounds good, but I don't think that there's hours of entertainment to be had.
