load of rubbish, 19 May 2008
received mine , used ??? well it was broken in one corner and had no stylos or accessories with it ,i couldnt be bothered to send it back because im only wasting more money on the postage , you cant draw anything like it shows on the back it is a load of rubbish and i wish i hadn`t wasted my money on one (especially a broken one!) walk away while you can and save your money!!!!
Great fun, 30 Apr 2008
I had one of these when I was younger and recently purchased it for my nephew and it still brings many many hours of fun. He finds it easy to draw the simple picture templates provided on the instructions and so do I..!
Don't waste your money!, 03 Feb 2008
This toy is a complete waste of time and money. The idea that you can draw over and over again is true enough, but the results produced by this thing are pitiful.
The board is basically a colourful swirly pattern covered in black paint contained by frame. The red tool pushes the paint out of the way to reveal the colour below. Except that it doesn't. The paint bleeds back over the line you have just drawn, and you can't draw two lines close together or write letters, as you will push paint back over where you have just been.
In all, a very frustrating buy from Marvin's Magic - emphatically not recommended.
Dredful,Overpriced And Useless!!!!!, 11 Jan 2008
I bought this for our daughter for Christmas as she spends hours drawing things, creating patterns and colouring so I thought this would be ideal. It sounds good, looks good, but don't be fooled!
It doesn't allow you to draw anything successfully!
As you draw the not so special stylus across the plastic coating it smears the black paint out of the way revealing the coloured background underneath.
My daughter found it very disappointing, the paint constantly bleeds over what you've just done, meaning drawing anything was impossible. She used it with limited success for writing our names but that was about it.
When I looked at the back of the board there are examples of what can be supposedly created. These are obviously computer generated as I attempted to recreate all of them after my daughter lost interest and found Marvin's Magic was definitely Tragic.
At best my daughter used this for around 30 minutes until she gave up with it and hasn't touched it since.
What a waste of money!

great toy, great value, 16 Nov 2008
While there are some other toy wands on the market for a little less, this is still a real bargain. They have got it just right: large and fun, robust yet light weight (so less chance of hurting anyone when a young child is busy casting spells in an energetic manner....). This one also comes with a bonus little pack of tricks - ideal for slightly older children (7+) or 5+ with adult help. All in all, great cheap gift for any wannabe Magician.

this is a mind boggling effect and also very east to master. however, the "gimmick" that assists the trick breaks easily. in the first day, well the first few hours, a vital part of the trick broke. you can still do the trick but you have to be very careful. save your money from buying this. i reccomend buying DYNMAIC COINS which is excellent

The Wizard Cards & Book are exelent value for money. They are gerat because you can fool anyone incredibly easily! The cards are special and very durable (when broken in) they take only about 10mins to break in which is good because it is how long you should practise each trick for and then you can start performing demonstrations straight away. The 125 tricks in the book are all easy to understand and written in an English way. When you know the secret you can do all the tricks with ease. I would say these are for age 10 to adults and everyone should have theese great cards and book.
