Poorly designed, 03 Oct 2008
Gazillion Bubble Machine Ours lasted only a month and stopped working after one of the children picked it up and carried it around for a bit - not roughly. I think it got bubble stuff inside, but it should really be build to cope with this.
Bubble Machine, 06 Aug 2008
Although the machine is great fun and produces loads of bubbles, you constantly need to refill with bubble mixture, which is a bit of a pain.
Great fun but very poor durability / quality, 30 Jul 2008
We bought this for our daughter and she had great fun with it while it lasted. 5 days and then the motor stopped working. Amazon provided a replacement very quickly but this one did not work at all on arrival. So while it did produce great bubbles the quality is a huge let down and we were very disappointed.
Fun, but noisy, 22 Jan 2008
This is fun, but very noisy. This makes it diffcult to use indoors. Fun overall.
NOT A GAZILLION!!!, 27 Nov 2007
Just bought one of these thinking it would have a real wow factor for the kids. It just doesn't perform!!! It's not much better than blowing yourself the traditional way. I can't be bothered going to the hassle of returning it but it shall make me think twice before buying something like this online again.

Product Description
The waboba ball is made of polyurethane and has a lycra coating. The mix of different polyurethanes makes the ball bounce and float on water. The ball is made to endure some rough handling, but do not bounce it on the ground or on walls etc.The ball is CE marked. It is not recommended for use by children under 3 years. The Beach Game. The easiest way to have fun with a wabobaball is to simply throw it so that it bounces on the water between you. Try different angles, catching it with one hand, bouncing it on waves etc. The idea of the game is to pass between team members, three in each team, without loosing the ball to the other team. When all team members have caught the ball at least once, without interruption and with at least one bounce on water in each pass, the team gets one point (one round). The opposing team shall try to interrupt passes and start passing within their team. First team to three rounds wins the match. You have to pass the ball within 5 seconds after receiving it. It is allowed to tackle opponents, but not the player that has the ball. You are not allowed to hold an opponent. To play tournaments you need the Match Game rules, you can download them from the web site.

The Waboba Ball is so much fun to bring to the beach with you to play with your friends and families. This actually bounces on water as it says on the description and the games you can play with them are countless because you come up with more game ideas everytime you use it. The only problem with it is that if you use it very often, the thread starts to come loose and the material starts to split apart so you either throw it away or try repairing it yourself with a needle and thread. This obviously will change the ball's appearance but once its fixed, the ball works as good as new. One big mistake i made was to step on it. A silly mistake and the rubber ball inside cracked in half so the ball doesn't work too well anymore. However, the price was worth the few weeks i have had it and i guarantee you won't regret buying one. Besides, look how cheap it is!!!
More fun than a frisbee by far!, 23 Aug 2007
I saw this ball online and bought it for my recent beach holiday without knowing much about it. I have to say that it was fantastic - you can play for hours as it's so addictive trying to perfect your throwing technique. The 'skimming' technique is the hardest to master, but is great as, when you throw it really hard in the sea, depending on the angle that it hits a wave or current it can fly off high in any direction. So you have keep alert so as not get caught off-guard! (This can prove a little lethal with children using the orange variety, as this is a bit heavier apparently than the original red one or the new lighter yellow pool one). My only minor gripe being that by Day 3 of my holiday some of the outer layers of 'rubber'(underneath the material cover) had started to perish...but to be fair it had recieved quite a bit of punishment by then! So I feel that a new Waboba ball for each holiday is not exactly a huge investment to worry about compared to the laughs you can have playing with it. I've recommended this to my friends already...go on, get one....

Complete Waste of Money, 08 May 2008
I bought this product after weeks of nagging from my 4 yr old son. When i got it i put his little pool in the back yard put some water in like it says on the packet then waited 5 mins before i stirred it,its not at all like you see on the telly it was like he was sat in watery wall paper paste it was horrible. my son ended up crying because it was on his face then in his mouth..finally i put the disolver in pha! what a con didn't even do nothing it was still slimy. After an hour i emptied it into the back yard (nearly slipped on my a**e) made it very slimy and slippery ended up having to get the hose pipe out and swill the yard down...would NOT buy this again no way!!!!!
Great clean fun!, 16 Mar 2008
Having just come from the bathroom, following a 'mad' session with my 10 and 6 yr old children, I am currently surfing the web to purchase another box of gelli baff.
The 'powder' in stage 1 turns the water to a thick, slimy consistency which although is a little like "polystyrene balls" / "grainy" which both my children found hilarious and didn't want to end their bath time. I think that they likened the experience to a mud bath!
The stage 2 dissolver took only a minute or two to work and I showered the kids during this time. I certainly didn't find any difficulty in straightening the bathroom following their play and did remember that the whole episode was a one-off treat.
A complete con!!!, 29 Jan 2008
I bought Geli Baff for my 5 year old son after constant pestering from him in response to TV adverts showing this 'amazing' product.
I followed the instructions to the letter and as we are in a 'hard water area' I even measured the water to ensure I only used 4cm to ensure the correct amount of water. I poured in the stuff and swirled the water and to my disgust it turned grainy and felt like I had my hand in wet polystyrene balls (not at all like Jelly or gloop). My son hated it. He said it felt fizzy when he moved(it did) and he started to cry after 5 minutes.
So anyway, I then poured in the dissolver and....nothing. It reduced the number of grains but that was it. I had to empty the bath and shower my son to get the stuff off him. It also stained my bath red (we had the red lava packet).
This product is a complete con. It costs a fortune for what amounts to a very shallow bath of coloured grains. My son hated it and it stained the bath.
Do not waste your money on this....stick with old fashioned bubbles I say.

Not that good - and it comes in a gay colour, 05 Jul 2008
Like another reviewer, I bought this under the impression that it was black. When it arrived it was actually in a lurid shade of yellow.
It's not bad as a water pistol but the magazines are very fragile - my kid cracked one of them in the first hour of play. You can find much better water pistols than this.

in defence of amazon they are in fact following the law here, because of the Violent Crime Reduction Act to buy a gun you must be a member of UKARA (United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association) and be registered with a local airsoft site.
however the gun can be sold to you without the license if the gun is at least 51% brightly coloured and that you are over the age of 18.
i dont like the law any more than you do, but im an airsofter and informed amazon of this fact and they have therefore removed or in this case changed the gun to conform with the law
Stop and think, 16 Apr 2008
I am very disappointed. I bought this item to complete a fancy dress outfit. I didn't mind paying that little bit more as it was black as per the picture. When it arrived it was transparent bright yellow, thus no good at all. Please show the right picture or mention in the description that "not as shown". Thanks
Guns?, 18 Mar 2008
There is a time and place, i pulled this out in the airport and was ravaged by a hail of rubber bullets from police and security. Bad choice on my part.

Great Fun, 02 Aug 2008
You can find much better water pistols than this.
doing it the right way, 13 Jun 2008
in defence of amazon they are in fact following the law here, because of the Violent Crime Reduction Act to buy a gun you must be a member of UKARA (United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association) and be registered with a local airsoft site.
however the gun can be sold to you without the license if the gun is at least 51% brightly coloured and that you are over the age of 18.
i dont like the law any more than you do, but im an airsofter and informed amazon of this fact and they have therefore removed or in this case changed the gun to conform with the law

I am very disappointed. I bought this item to complete a fancy dress outfit. I didn't mind paying that little bit more as it was black as per the picture. When it arrived it was transparent bright yellow, thus no good at all. Please show the right picture or mention in the description that "not as shown". Thanks

There is a time and place, i pulled this out in the airport and was ravaged by a hail of rubber bullets from police and security. Bad choice on my part.
Stay away and get some other bubbles, 26 Jun 2008
I got this for my daughter and it is rubbish. Two bubbles from a whole container...
not good for outdoor use, 11 May 2008
the table is pretty and my daughter enjoys playing with it, but the lid is not well made. We have the table in the garden and whenever it rains, the sand moulds fill with water, exactly what they should not. Also it lacks more of a border or flat surface insaide to put the sand cakes, a water mill, etc.
so ok sand table and nice colours, but really annoying that the rain filters in. quality seem ok otherwise.
Excellent outdoor play table, 24 Aug 2006
I bought this for my daughter 2.5 yrs ago when she was just 14 months old and had started walking. She loved it as it was just the right height for her to use and help her stand up. I bought this one because of the hard top/lid which made it a real multi purpose item. As she used it for painting and drawing up the garden as well as eating her dinner on it. We still have the table and it is still in excellent condition and my other daughter who is 18 months old loves it too and they play with it together now. Well worth the money for the amount of use they get out of it.
