Customer Reviews
You MUST have this, 15 Jan 2008
Our 2.5 year old plays with this for hours. it is solidly built and looks and sounds like a real machine. ther eis an overall 'on/off' with a little light. There's a 'fill' cycle with water sounds, a wash (with slow splinning) and a spin (with fast spinning). the spinning stops if you open the door. All of them stop after a minute or so. This stops the batteries running out fast and also keeps things generally quieter.
Excellent toy, 15 Sep 2006
This is an excellent toy for preschool children. Ours has been thrown down the stairs, stood on, had beads put in it and had the door slammed shut loads of times, etc, and still works perfectly after 3 years of play. The batteries last for ages too. I would definetly recommend this toy as an essential for children as its tough, fun and uses their imagination. It has washing sounds, light up buttons for normal wash and fast spin cycle for different speeds, opening soap powder drawer, it shuts off when the door is opened and they can wind it up at the back so it turns around manually. Great fun.
Good for boys who like gadgets , 07 Aug 2006
This is so much fun! My son loves it, as he has been obsessed with our big-people washer and dryer since he was an tiny baby. Now he gets to make the noise and watch the spin without mum and dad telling him it is dangerous to stick his head inside! So don't be old fashioned and gender-bound -- if your 2-3yr old son likes stuff that whirs and spins and can open and close and he can stick stuff inside and watch it all spin around, he'll have hours of fun with this.
EXCELLENT!, 06 Jul 2006
I bought this for my 2 and a half year old daughter, and she absolutely loves it. also my younger daughter who is 13 months likes to play with it too,
much to my eldest daughters annoyance. lol. a great toy.

EXCELLENT, 12 Aug 2008
This product is small but very realistic it is excellent just a pity it isn't a little bit bigger, I also purchased the sink unit, brekfast set, washing machine, and sauce pan set, all together they create the perfect home setting for my 2 year old they are small which takes up less room but they serve there purpose very well. Im sure she will have many more days of fun with this set of toys.
Cooker review, 09 Jun 2007
The cooker stands at just over a foot tall. Within a week, the door to the grill snapped off and could not be fixed back on. Other than that it is not a bad cooker, but I'd go and view others first before you decide on this one.
very realistic, smaller than I expected, 15 Mar 2007
This cooker is exceptionally realistic. Both my children aged 3 and 18 months love it. It IS small, but the plus side is that it all fits neatly away into its box and a storage cupboard. If you don't have the biggest playroom in the world or don't want a child's plastic kitchen on permanent display in your house then this cooker is for you.
BEST TOY COOKER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!, 09 Dec 2006
If you want the best toy cooker ever, just like a real hotpoint but smaller and more fun, then buy this today! You don't have to put it together which means it is built strong and to last unilke other pretend play toys you may have to assemble and that are made of cheap flimsy plastic. All you do is install the batteries and presto, you have a very happy child. Comes with pots/pans for stovetop, oven tray and racks, real sounds but not loud annoying toy sounds to get on adults nerves. Yep, overall can't beat it.
Good fun, but a little fragile, 05 Jan 2006
This is a great toy for role-play. A small cooker and pan / food set with some nice 'cooking' noises and lights on the hob / ovens. The play food and pots are nicely designed, but the grill door feels like it may not last long. Our 2-year old loves it and her big sister (5) also joins in occasionally.

Wonderful Item but very small!, 29 Aug 2007
My 5 year old has to knee down but my two year old is the perfect scale height. So, the downside is this attractive set is definitely on the wee side! That said, it is well made and sturdy. The iron has a few buttons and a dial that click and crunch that my girls appreciate. It set is as realistic as you could get I think.
Al-in-all, quality fun item but more for the 2-3 age range in my opinion.
