With capabilities just like a real helicopter, the Atlas is remote control flying like you've never seen before. Features: Super wide infrared control. Built-in Li-Poly battery. Strong EPP foam body. Gyroscopic auto-stability for an even smoother flight.

Huge fun, but slightly erratic, 04 Sep 2008
Technically very clever, this is an evolution of the tiny Picoo Z 2-channel machine that has taken the world by storm.
What they have added to this is a 'Forward' button that gives a surge of forwards movement to the otherwise very slowly moving helicopter.
But....
This surge forward comes after a slight but unpredictable delay, and the yaw control (left/right steering) on this machine is less good than on the Picoo Z.
So you might have this little machine hovering, and want to buzz it across the room, but it is twisting to the right, OK?
If you try to stop it twisting the sticky yaw control can set it spinning left, and the trim is not a lot of help in this - unlike the older Picoo Z. If you take pot luck and wait until it lines up on your destination, the forward button may delay enough until it aims you at the wall!
So it can be a bit of a lottery, but still great fun.
Fortunately it seems just as tough as the Picoo Z.
The tiny actuator mechanism for the 'Forward' control is jewel like and a very neat bit of model engineering, significant educational value, as always - but the way the whole machine flies is not so good in the ways described. Pity.
Oh, and it has a remote controlled light on it. Might add fun to the arrival of the Xmas pud? Just don't get too near the flames!
Still recommended, but for fun rather than precision flying.

Product Description
Now pay attention. If you're as serious about gadgets as we are, there isn't a great deal about the MX-1 that you won't be impressed with. First off... It's size. At an incredible 4 1/2 inches in length this is the smallest remote controlled helicopter you're ever likely to see, yet within its lightweight outer shell this helicopter houses a rechargeable battery pack and a minuscule propeller motor that enable it to fly around for approximately 10 minutes from a single charge. Charging the MX-1 is simple. Connect the helicopter to the hand held remote control unit and wait for the charging indicator to signify the on board battery is being charged. The hand held remote control doubles as a handy storage unit for the helicopter when not in use, enabling easy and damage-free transportation and simultaneous charging. Due to its size and weight the MX-1 is most suited to indoor flight and is ideal for flying missions around the office or in the home. Joysticks on the remote enable control of altitude, direction and trimming making airborne navigation as simple as possible.

Excellent when you know how!, 30 Jan 2008
This is a lovely little addition to the Ben 10 range. When you collect Ben 10 figures you get free viewer discs and this watch enables you to view them. The key is that there is a clear plastic section on the watch face and to view the aliens you need to ensure this section is pointing at a strong light source. If you don't do this you won't be able to see anything.
Don't be fooled into thinking this is a cheaper version of the 'Ominatrix' there aren't any lights etc but it does say exactly what it does on the packaging. Personally though I like this more as it encourages imagination whilst being a bargain!
My 5 year old son and his friends all love this toy...so if you're considering one..buy I say!
great fun, 09 Jan 2008
this toy is very good it comes with two slider discs and you can get more with the toys and it has a removeabile strap if its too small it fits me on the last hole it fits 5 discs(and you can see the discs in the watch unlsss you have it up side down or something stupid like that)
Not As Good As It Looks!!, 09 Jan 2008
This is a very deceptive toy - I bought it thinking it would be a smaller version of the Omnitrix when in fact it is nothing like it - No sounds and no light, It doesn't actually do anything!!
As stated in the previous comment - If you look into the viewer you cannot even see the aliens on the changeable discs as there is no back light!
My son has the deluxe Omnitrix and his little sister wanted one, so I thought I'd opt for this cheaper version as she's only young. But she was most disappointed when I gave her this Alien Viewer and she realised that it does nothing at all - She won't even pick it up now!!
Granted, It does look the part, but it really isn't a patch on the proper Omnitrix!
Ben 10, 28 Dec 2007
My son loved this watch, best thing he had for Christmas but personally I feel differently, ok you have discs that you slide in to see scenes of Ben but how do you see them? if you put your eye to the eye hole you effectivly block the light entering the watch to see the scenes. My son loved it tho so make of this review what you eill :-)

So much fun. Bought mine a few weeks ago and I have not put it down. It is so much fun. It is easy to learn to fly but then you can start to do tricks etc and use the more advanced mode that is a bit more difficult, but allows you to try new tricks etc.
I looks quite fragile but actually it is very tough even after several major crashes it is still in one piece.

Tricky but Worth it, 07 Nov 2007
I can understand people who have been frustrated trying to get these things to fly but don't give up!
First of all I would recommend a fair bit of space to get a feel for the controls and I would say leave the riband on the tail to start with. If you get a dead calm day take it to a field or park. Secondly (and probably the most important thing) do not use too much throttle, just a touch is enough (especially indoors), if you give it too much it will just climb and stall. To start with I would also try flying in circles until you get the hang of the throttle (means you only have to worry about one control). It really is just a case of being very light on the controls but once you get the hang of it it is amazing to watch.
Build quality wise it looks a lot more fragile than it is; I think the only way to break it is to stand on it! As long as it is not deliberatly abused it will last a long time. It also comes with a spare set of wings and also a spare tail rotor - which is taped to the plastic bag for the remote ariel so watch you don't throw it out by mistake. The only thing is the paint rubs off it quite quickly but you can just repaint it yourself.
They are also available in two control frequencies ( Green or Blue Dragonfly) so two people can fly at the same time.
All in all an amazing flying machine. My father who is retired was absolutley entranced with it so I bought him one for his birthday. Truly something which can be enjoyed whether you are 7 or 70.
This is such fun., 03 Nov 2007
My seven year old son got this bought for him for his birthday and he loves it. He could fly it on his first go. We have been flying it inside the house and out in the garden and it has done well on both and we havn't got a big house or garden. It charges up quick and I think seven minutes is long enough flying time as kids get bored easily. It is a tough thing too which suprised me. But I can see us going through a few pairs of wings until my son becomes an expert. A great toy and a lot of fun for any age.

Product Description
There's nothing quite like electric shock therapy to wake you from your slumber, as my old gran used to say. Fortunately, the mild but spiky does of electric charge delivered by the Electric Shock Ball won't alter one's personality - but it will, however, deliver a splendidly nasty nip to the unlucky recipient. All of which ought to give you an idea or two about how to use it to best effect. Here's how it works: looking for all the world like a transparent 21st century cricket ball, when activated the device looses-off random jolts of electricity from its many outward-facing metallic surfaces. It's designed to be thrown and caught, meaning that the holder of the ball when the charge goes off is inevitably destined to buy the next round - or face some other task no-one else wants to do. In fact, the more the pain and anguish of throwing, catching and electrocuting becomes apparent, the more useful the ball becomes in helping make difficult decisions among large (and not so large) groups. It's not so much the jolt itself - as the fear and tension that the anticipation creates. And that's half the fun of it. Electrifying, hair-raising stuff.

shock ball, 07 Oct 2007
This ball is so much fun. The shock you get depends on where it touches you. It's very durable, i've dropped it lots and it's still working. You can play so many games with it like, hot potato and you can put the ball on different parts of your body. It's well worth £15, it makes you laugh. I expected it to be bigger but when you play with it you can see why they have made it smaller.

A great toy and a lot of fun for any age.
shock ball, 07 Oct 2007
This ball is so much fun. The shock you get depends on where it touches you. It's very durable, i've dropped it lots and it's still working. You can play so many games with it like, hot potato and you can put the ball on different parts of your body. It's well worth £15, it makes you laugh. I expected it to be bigger but when you play with it you can see why they have made it smaller.

over price seriously flawed, 02 Jun 2008
the paint on the back and teeth rubs off in next to no time, the battery is rubbish. This is a VERY over priced toy, that could have been so much more. Very disapointed
Pleo, 03 Mar 2008
He is cute, he is adorable, you can make him sleep by cuddling him.
But the battery life is short (1 hour per 3 hr charge).
Ideally I would have wanted to leave him on all day to learn so when I returned home he could greet me, but obviously that is not possible.
I'd get a second battery if they were for sale.
Pleo's Build Quality, 13 Feb 2008
I bought my Pleo a little under two months ago. The paint is now wearing from the skin, the teeth are chipping the white paint and it only walks in circles (1m diameter). Apparently this is common accross the range. There must be serious doubts to the build quality.

Product Description
Mobile telephony is an indescribably complex business. And it's often handy to know that when you're delivering your takeaway order to Mr Ho-Wong down at the local Chinese, your call is backed by billions of pounds of technology. Technology that has led, almost inevitably, to the creation of the ever-so-collectable and dashed useful Mo Pods. A Mo Pod - for there are many styles and varieties to choose from - is quite simply a small furry character that sits lifelessly inside a small glass dome attached to one's mobile using a handy keyring-type lead. 'Is that all?', you ask. No. It is not all. For the Mo Pods do mo' - much mo' - than just stand there. Mo Pods tune-in to the incoming frequencies recognised by one's mobile telephone and, in so doing, perform a flashing dance (not unlike that of Mr Travolta in Saturday Night Fever) whenever they spot an incoming call or text. Spinning around like a whirling dervish, they perform the public service of alerting you to your good fortune, perhaps in a noisy pub or in the midst of a dull meeting. Relative to the profusion of dull and rather functional mobile accessories peppering our shelves - which, let's face it, only seem to come in one shade of black - Mo Pods are a ray of light in an otherwise Bluetooth desert. Needless to say, it is incumbent on you as a follower of these fashions, not merely to stop at one Pod, but to go on to amass a collection of a whole number of fascinating little characters. Then simply pop and go with the Mo. Yo.

The fun of Dragonflys , 18 Dec 2007
So much fun. Bought mine a few weeks ago and I have not put it down. It is so much fun. It is easy to learn to fly but then you can start to do tricks etc and use the more advanced mode that is a bit more difficult, but allows you to try new tricks etc.
I looks quite fragile but actually it is very tough even after several major crashes it is still in one piece.
FUN FUN FUN is all I can say
waiting......., 25 Nov 2007
hiya, i've been reading peole's comments, i have to say 9/10 are very good, i've not yet got mine, i should get it on tuesday 27th novemeber, im 17 years old and thought this might actually be fun to play with my younger dissabled brother who is now 12, yes i have to admit, its abit to much in cost, but what the hell, (IT FLYS) or so it seems, i cant wait to get mine, and see how it actually does, i have a big gargen, and a big house too, so i should be able to have hours of fun (hopefully) no idea what im letting my self in for, lets hope its no bad!!!!!!!!

Great Idea. But dosen't always work., 30 Jan 2008
I bought one of these for my wife and found that sometimes it works and sometimes it dosen't. + sometimes it just flashes when there are no calls at all.
I found it a bit disappointing. The lights only flash for a few seconds while the phone is ringing and gives no indication that you have a missed call or missed text so the claims that you will never miss a call again are a bit far fetched.
To sum this item up in one word : OVERRATED
Cute, cute and cute!, 13 Jan 2008

Product Description
It's a strangely wonderful thing, electricity. One moment we're flying kites in thunderstorms to test conductivity, then next we're powering our whole society with it... and now, in the early 21st century, the electrical revolution has reached its zenith, its true Himalayan peak: the electric shock laser gun. Now, the power of high accuracy lasers and potent elecro-motive force sits right in the palm of your hand as you and a foe do battle over rough terrain (or your front room) to determine the title of Electro-Duelling Supremo. With two shock levels per gun - low and high - and six LEDs to knock-out on each breastplate, this is a game for the brave, the agile and the fearless. The limp-wristed, and girls, ofcourse, can only look on in awe. Each gun has the authentic look of a futuristic laser blaster, with specially designed integral metal handles designed to deliver a nasty shock - complete with truly authentic battle sound effects - if you're unlucky enough to take a direct hit from the enemy. Their awfully clever internal speakers also produce the appropriate sound whenever you reload or run out of laser ammunition. Many are called. But few are man enough to take the pain. Now's the time to take the challenge and get thoroughly blasted - if you dare.

It really does work, now I will never miss a call when my phone is in my handbag again. Excellent! Sheer Genius - seriously, buy some of these!, 01 Apr 2008
This set is brilliant fun - let's get that out of the way now! Remember those trips to laserquest when you were little? Well, it's just like that, but now you've got a real incentive to use cover.
I have a friend with one of those modern laser sets that occasionally beeps when you score a hit, and people sort of walk around the room with those, slightly bored and not really caring if they get hit or not.
This is all rather different. The shocks aren't particularly strong, but they're enough to give you a good reason to shoot the other guy before he zaps you. Something no-one has mentioned yet is that there is a little adjuster on the front of the chest plate that allows you to change how easy it is to be hit, but these are a little stiff, and realistically not worth messing about with. Everything else on these things is top notch. The weapons are light to carry, but satisfyingly chunky and with good sound effects, the 5 second reload and the option of a higher shock/damage setting adds some tactics into the mix.
Overall, these things are top notch, and guarrantee you a lot of fun! This is not a toy., 17 Dec 2007
This item is totally misrepresented in the discription, but even worse the minimum age recommendation is incorrect. When the item arrives it clearly states in large scale on the box that it is NOT a TOY, that people with heart conditions, epilepsy etc should not use it, and that the MINIMUM AGE RECOMMENDATION is 14 YEARS.
I bought it for my 9 year old son for Christmas and it was only when I went to wrap it that I realised that it was wholly unsuitable, and potentially dangerous. I can't believe, given the clear labels on the box, that this is being sold as a toy with a minimum age recommendation of 14 months when it should be 14 years.
I'm sure that it is a fantastic gift for the right age group but the description and category need amending urgently. I hope that, by reading this, potential purchasers can make an informed decision. A brill laser tag game, 26 Mar 2006
As its name suggests, this thrilling game of laser tag is truly shocking - and we don't mean it pulls its pants down and hurls abuse the minute you open the box (although that would be quite amusing). You see, unlike regular namby-pamby laser tag sets, this state-of-the-art shoot 'em up is truly electrifying. That's because a direct hit to your opponent's chest plate delivers a nasty (but harmless) electric shock via the butt of your opponent's über-futuristic pistol. Forget wimpy flashes and beeps; if you get hit with a blast from a shocking gun you'll definitely know all about it, and so will your opponent because every time you're hit, one of six LEDs on your chest plate is extinguished. Lose all your lights and it's game over! Okay, so you'll probably look more Power Ranger than Starship Trooper wearing the LED-laden chest plate, but that's a small price to pay for the sheer pant-wetting excitement you'll experience whilst battling it out brandishing a potentially shocking, super accurate, long range (5m) weapon. Indeed, each gorgeously rugged gun is supplied with a wrist strap to prevent you from dropping it when shocked. And that's extremely likely if you set your guns on the 'I'm hard, I am!' maximum shock setting, a mode which extinguishes two LEDs instead of one. You might imagine the key to victory lies in bombarding your opponent with a full-on assault, but Han Solo-style salvos will only end in mizzzzery because you need to 'reload' after every five shots - and that takes a full five seconds. For this reason you'll need oodles of cunning and stealth to outbuzz the enemy. In fact, you'll need every shred of nerve available, because Shocking Guns add an electrifying new dimension to laser tag. so get this, noww!!!

Product Description
This Water Rocket perfectly demonstrates the principle Isaac Newton's described in his third law of motion. Can fly hundreds of feet in the air! The Science Museum Water Rocket uses water and air to launch and fly hundreds of feet in the air. Professional Water Rocket Video function newwinlinktext1() { newwin = window.open('waterrocketvid.htm','windowname','height=400,width=360,resizable') } 2 MB (requires windows media player) Fill the rocket partly with water and connect the pump to force air into the rocket under pressure. Squeeze the hand-launcher to release the pressure in the rocket and watch it zoom into the air. This demonstrates the principle Isaac Newton's described in his third law of motion: 'Every action has an equal and opposite reaction'. The pressure of the air forces the water out of the base. This action is balanced by a reaction - thrusting the rocket in the opposite direction. As the mass of water is greater than the rockets mass, so the forces are balanced by the rocket accelerating much faster than the water. It can assist with National Curriculum coverage, suitable for exploring science at KS2 and KS3 of the National Curriculum. This Encourages your child to discover more about forces and motion (physical processes) through play experiences. The Science Museum Professional Water Rocket is a great example of how children can learn and have fun. Water Rocket features ? One Professional Water Rocket ? Rocket body ?
My 5 year old son and his friends all love this toy...so if you're considering one..buy I say! great fun, 09 Jan 2008
this toy is very good it comes with two slider discs and you can get more with the toys and it has a removeabile strap if its too small it fits me on the last hole it fits 5 discs(and you can see the discs in the watch unlsss you have it up side down or something stupid like that) Not As Good As It Looks!!, 09 Jan 2008
My son loved it tho so make of this review what you eill :-) Recommend, 23 Feb 2008
Loads of fun and if you stick with it you'll master it takes some skill tho..
Great price I think The fun of Dragonflys , 18 Dec 2007
A great toy and a lot of fun for any age.
shock ball, 07 Oct 2007
This ball is so much fun. The shock you get depends on where it touches you. It's very durable, i've dropped it lots and it's still working. You can play so many games with it like, hot potato and you can put the ball on different parts of your body. It's well worth £15, it makes you laugh. I expected it to be bigger but when you play with it you can see why they have made it smaller.
:-D
over price seriously flawed, 02 Jun 2008
the paint on the back and teeth rubs off in next to no time, the battery is rubbish. This is a VERY over priced toy, that could have been so much more. Very disapointed Pleo, 03 Mar 2008
Pleo wow, 25 Dec 2007
Got my pleo on the 22nd december all i can say is wow.Never thought you could get attatched to a load of microproccesers and gear mechanisms but i can assure you that once you get it out the box you will see what all the fuss is about for more info on this product go to www.pleoworld.com Great Idea.
To sum this item up in one word : OVERRATED Cute, cute and cute!, 13 Jan 2008
I got this for xmas. I really like it and it is a cool idea. It is nice when it lights up but sometimes it doesnt when your phone rings, can go off automatically, fiddley to get on but yeah great. I would recommend it. MoPod, 19 Dec 2007
Its a brilliant idea, and makes a very cool-yet random present..for all ages!!!
However, if you have a 3G Phone it will not work, they forget to mention this on these sites! Excellent!, 03 Dec 2007
Great fun but buy a pump to avoid disappointment, 30 May 2008
Like the other reviews I agree that this is great fun and educational for the younger minds (and older ones too!!!) but the footpump supplied with the rocket is utter useless - it broke for me on the second depression; Do yourself a favour and buy your own pump to avoid disappointment
Rocket great pump awful, 21 Feb 2008
The rocket itself is brilliant. But the pump itself is awful, second time out it sprung a leak. Tried to get a replacement from the Science Museum but it proved too much hassle as they wanted me to return the whole thing when only the pump was faulty.
Spent £5 on a cheap footpump from Halfords. That didn't last five minutes either, but then I suppose they are only designed for occasional use not continuous duty. Found the ideal answer on Amazon in a £10 hand operated track pump that enables you to reach 100 psi in only a few strokes. At that pressure the height/distance reached is phenomenal - make sure you have a big empty space.
The WOW factor, 05 Jan 2008
The rocket itself is brilliant. Put in some water, pump up to pressure and release the trigger....and the rocket lauches to a spectacular height. Great toy for older children and men! The kit comes with everything you need to get going, but the included foot pump was cheap and disappointing: it struggled to get the air pressure above 50 psi and broke within two days. A good quality car footpump can get the pressure up to the max recommended (100 psi) to make best use of the rocket power. First class fun and would have been 5 stars with a better foot pump.
