Bargain! Bargain! Exterminate!, 15 Jul 2008
Although this is a child's money box, it's actually a pretty decent looking model. It stands 20 cms high (8 inches in old money) and looks a lot more expensive than it really is. There is a coin slot in the top of it's head, but it still seems like uncommonly good value. I've got mine on the top of bookshelf so the slot isn't seen anyway. I think it's just a nice, inexpensive bit of nostalgia/memorabilia, I love mine.
Exterminate your money Problems!, 21 Mar 2008
Dalek is now a centre piece in my lounge. (girlfriend as you can imagine is perhaps not so thrilled)
For any person growing up in the 60 -s 70 s this Dalek is
large and authentic looking and will bring back great memories.
I am now using it to save for a sliding talking Dalek !
Lastly great value for money !
Good quality money box, 06 Nov 2006
This model is of high quality and will hold a lot of pocket money. The only problem we've found is that because of the shape and the strengthening bars inside the body it can be difficult to get all the money out!
Dalek Money Bank.., 05 Sep 2006
This is a very smart Dalek ,it is larger than the small radio controlled Daleks and it is a slightly darker shade of Gold, than the one that was captured, and tortured on Dr Who... but I think that it actually looks better in this darker guise!
The detail, and quality of the model ,makes it appear to be a lot dearer than it is! So if you like Daleks,at these prices this is a must,as you can't go wrong!
The only improvement that I would have made, would have been some sound effects ,when a button was pressed!,thats why its got a 4 star rating, and not a 5 star one!

Product Description
If you love popping bubblewrap you'll love this! Comprising a set of 8 buttons on an otherwise flat surface, the super addictive Puchi Puchi emit a small popping sound when pressed, giving the sensation (and, one has to admit, satisfaction) of the bubble-wrap 'pop'! The ideal keyring for your keys, bag or clothes; Puchi Puchi gives your bored or stressed hands something to do without any mind games! The best thing is that, unlike conventional bubble wrap, your Puchi Puchi bubbles never run out! Pop until your heart's content! Hurray for this little Japanese addiction!

Didnt live up to the hype, 11 Jul 2008
I was a little disappointed with this toy as the buttons are very hard to press, and the random sounds that you are rewarded with seem to take forever for them to come. However, as soon as you get your little suprise sound, you soon start popping again to get another one !
Does what it says on the tin, 14 May 2008
Maybe a stressbuster. Maybe good for a smoker to occupy their hands. You just "pop" the buttons and it feels vaguely like bubble wrap. After a certain number of "pops" you are rewarded with a random noise. Thats all there is to it. Simple and diverting.

very comfi fifi chair., 20 Nov 2007
I bought this chair for my daughter she is nearly 18 months old and its perfect in hieght for her. I spent a while looking for this and I am very pleased with it. Did not want a bean bag chair. It inflates quickly and easily and includes a patch for any punctures. Does not take take up much room and is washable. My daughter looks so grown up sitting in it. I highly recommend it.
Fifi armchair, 30 Apr 2007
When i ordered this armchair for my daughter, I thought it was of the beanbag variety. In actual fact it is a blow up chair with a fabric covering. The covering is removable and machine washable which is very useful and practical. You have to get the right amount of blow up though as too much and your child will bounce off rather than sit in it. Our daughter, who is 15months old, loves it though. It is a low level which is ideal for easy access for little ones. One thought I had was that if the inflatable inner proved too troublesome or punctured, then the outer cover could always be filled with beanbags or foam. Hope that helps.

A definite alternative or follow-on from the travel cot, 09 Nov 2006
I have two of these, the Winnie the Pooh one and Thomas the Tank Engine. It feels (or looks) like a cosy little bed, rather than an airbed that you plonked your child in on the floor. It seems comfortable as both my children sleep absolutely fine in it.
Unless you're using it in the summer, you will need to allow for another layer on top as it's quite thin. But better than something which was too thick and heavy you could only use it in the winter!
They're a nice little size. I use one for my 2 year old and the other for my 5 year old. She's 105cm tall and sleeps very comfortably in it. I predict she'll probably get another year out of it.
It's best to use an electric pump for it as the one that's included is a bit soul-destroying, though it does work.

A luxury three story dwelling., 30 Jul 2008
Last Christmas my wife and I had a nightmare with a dolls house. Whilst putting it together we had to nail small tacks into the wood to secure it all together. We followed the instructions but the wood split and it looked a right mess. It put us off ...until now!
This dolls house is an absolute doddle to put together. There are no screws, nails, or glue (other than the screws to attach the metal end plates which act has hinges). The house essentially slots together, and the three window-boxes on each side secure the structure - resulting in a very sturdy wooden dolls house.
The windows are already on, and they are made from nice chunky wood. The colour is bright without being garish, and the one thing that struck me about it is the size - from the pictures I'd seen it looked a little small, but once it's up it's actually pretty big.
It's nice and light inside (I've seen others which are dark and dingy - not easy to see inside when playing) and the two front parts open up nice and smoothly.
In a nutshell: Simple to put together, and it's unique method of construction means that if needs be, it can be taken down within 2 minutes and stored flat - yet despite this, it is extremely sturdy.
This is amongst the best dolls houses I've seen, it looks attractive, it'll withstand the rigours of child play, and it is made from quality materials. I'm certain that this will give many years of play value.

happy mum, 14 Jan 2008
I read the review for the Dr Who bin and ordered one expecting it to be my Christmas day nemesis! It only took 3 mins to put together, no problem at all and my son thinks I am really brill.
You'll need a sonic screwdriver to put this together , 01 Dec 2006
This item needs to be assembled and you will need 2AA batteries to make it work. The walls of the bin are made of two interlocking sheets of stiff plastic. However, it is almost impossible to interlock them tightly enough to fit into the base and whilst you are attempting to do so the dalek voices keep giving you grief. The cirfumference of the bin's body is too large to fit the base. However, the sound effects are very good - they scared the cat!
