Has its faults, but great customer service, 26 Oct 2008
Bought the Ozbozz Nebulus Nectra Folding Scooter about half a year ago for my son. In general it's good value. My son enjoys scooting around on it, and learns balancing along the way (4 stars for fun and educational value).
I agree with some of the other reviews. The wheels area is the weakest department. The wheels are too hard hence causes quite a bit of vibration, but my son doesn't seem to mind this. 2 weeks ago the rear wheel axel came off (3 stars for durability). I e-mailed the company (Ozbozz), and to my surprise the company promptly sent a replacement axel to me at no charge! If there is a star rating for customer service, Ozbozz gets a 5!
In short it's good value for money. It has a few faults, but I trust the company to rectify it where possible.
Good for cruising but not bruising!, 15 Sep 2008
This scooter is fine for a quick scoot to school for young children. My son however is 6 and managed to break the handlebars and crack the back wheel. he likes to scoot fast and do tricks. So i wouldnt reccomend it for adventurous children. My daughter isnt quite so brutal and hers is still going strong 6 months later.
Good but lots of vibration, 15 Aug 2008
I bought this one for my 5 year old, but the wheels are very hard and there is a lot of vibration and noise, so she refused to ride it, but it doesn't bother her sister. Her sister also tends to over-steer and the front wheel sometimes jams. We also have the 3 wheel flashing scooter, and have had the wheels fall off. We do ride them to school most days though, and they don't get much maintenance, so probably my fault.
Great value!, 30 Jul 2008
I just got this for my 5 year old, and for him it is great. It is a good basic scooter and surprisingly well made for the price. Even I have had a go on it, is fab!
The foam on the handles could be a little firmer, I don't think it will last, but at this price, is a risk I can take.
Easy to fold and light weight to carry, yet surprisingly sturdy. Five stars from me!
do not buy!, 13 Mar 2008
this product has very loud plastic wheels(bronken within a week) very bad bearings, way too small and nowhere near the weight of what it says. my advice is YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR if something is too good to be true... it probably is.

Not recommended for four year olds but that is who I bought one for and my granddaughter loves it. One criticism. The possibilities for adjusting handlebar height are limited. She could have it low or chopper height but nothing in between.

Do not order if living in London area!!!!, 05 Oct 2008
I have now tried to order this item twice and have not received it. To cut a long and aggravating story short, City Link (the delivery service) apparently refuse to leave packages in a sceured entrance area or with neighbors, even though I left a signed note advising them to do so. My neighbor begged the driver to leave the package with her, pointing out the signed note on the front door. How is anyone who has to work for a living supposed to receive a package through City Link? I certainly would not order on-line if I had the time to sit at home and wait for packages.
I would have liked the scooter for my nephew, but cannot tell if it is any good.....unfortunately.
Good Scooter, 05 Nov 2007
I was looking for a scooter for my son and this caught my eye. It's not quite your usual mini scooter. For one it has large blue wheels, the wheels are much larger than on mini scooters so it's much easier for my son to go over cracks in the pavement etc.
It's got flashing blue lights!!! He's young so he loves them - you need batteries so make sure you get some AAs in stock.
The handle has two positions, high and much higher. The low position is a bit of a stretch for him, but he manages and the high position will ensure that this is a toy that can be used for years to come.
The scooter is also very easy to fold up and put away so you don't really need to worry about storage space.
A good scooter if you are a boy (or a girl who likes blue)!

Razor A+ !!!, 06 Jul 2008
I bought this for my daughter's 6th birthday and she absolutely loves it! It is great quality and I can see it lasting for years unlike other cheaper scooters on the market. It is very easy to fold and light enough to carry. The non-slip surface on the footplate is also a great feature. The only negative is that I could'nt find one in pink!!
Great fun until it breaks...!, 10 Feb 2008
There is nothing wrong with this scooter - it costs £10 for goodness sakes. But it won't last long, perhaps a year of reasonable use. It is not a durable piece of equipment. The bearings are not properly greased, the handlebar adjustment settings tend to break very quickly. The good news is my local recycling centre has so many broken Nebulous scooters (everyone buys this model) that you can often find a spare part and bolt it on to your child's broken one.
Overall, this piece of kit is excellent value for £10, but I can't help yearning for the age before Chinese imports where equipment such as this would cost more but could be passed from one child to another.
Badly made, we're sending it back, 07 Jan 2008
Maybe we just got a duff one but I'm sorry to say I found this product was a heap of rubbish. The extendable steering arm, even when tightened up hard with the bolt, was loose and wobbly and made an infuriating clicking and rattling noises all the time the scooter was in use. The trigger release for the folding mechanism was so incredibly stiff there was no way my 8 year-old would ever be able to operate it - even I found it very difficult. The black plastic bit at the front came off twice in the first couple of days. Pity - I assumed the original was the best but certainly not in this case.
A GREAT SCOOTER, 22 Sep 2007
I WAS UNSURE OF ALL THE SCOOTERS WITH ALL OF THE BAD REVIEWS OF THE CHEAP VERSIONS AVAILABLE ON THE MARKET. 'THIS IS NOT A CHEAP VERSION'. I BOUGHT THIS RAZOR A SCOOTER AT 29.99GBP FOR MY 10 YEAR OLD SON WHO LOVES IT. NOW HE FINALLY WANTS TO WALK THE DOG WITH ME SO HE CAN GO EVERYWHERE ON IT. UNLIKE HIS FRIENDS SCOOTER WHICH RATTLES ON EVERY BUMP IN THE GROUND(AND THERES ALOT IN THIS COUNTRY!) THE RAZOR A SCOOTER JUST GLIDES ALONG. ALSO THERES PLENTY OF ROOM ON THE FOOTPLATE FOR BOTH FEET. (NOT ON THE CHEAP SCOOTS) MY 5 YR OLD DAUGHTER NOW WANTS A PINK ONE (CAUSE SHE FINDS IT GREAT TO RIDE TOO), SO I'M LOOKING FOR A PINK RAZOR A SCOOTER WHICH SEEMS A BIT HARDER TO FIND. THIS MODEL HAS NOW COME DOWN IN PRICE AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ALL. GREAT QUALITY SCOOTER AT A GREAT PRICE. BUY IT NOW.
Simple, reasonably solid, but great fun, 20 Dec 2006
Well worth it for the kids - a few points of warning:
1/
The handle bars can be un-clipped causing the under sevens to occasionally crash, with the inevitable tears
2/
A few plastic bits last a few weeks before the kids find a way to rip them off
3/
It is also great fun for the adults if you live on a hill but crash helmets are useful

Falk - Ford + Trailer (Sit and Ride)
I bought this toy for my son's first birthday based on the previous review. I just wanted to say I couldn't agree more with the gentleman's comments. This is a really sturdy toy and ideal for little people as it doesn't tip over easily. My son likes to use it like a walker at the moment (his feet don't quite touch the floor on it yet so he can't get around while sat on it without assistance) and really enjoys pushing it about and beeping the horn. Alternatively mum or dad can push him around which absolutely delights him. I am really pleased I purchased it and believe it is fantastic value for money. The only con is that you need quite a bit of space available for manouevre, especially if you are using the trailer as well. All in all a fantastic toy.
Good fun tractor, 13 Sep 2007
I bought this for my grandson in June this year. He is a big boy and fitted on to this tractor straight away. It provides him with lots of fun and he associates it with a real Ford tractor. I think that this association is important. I will be buying more branded type lorries and tractors as time goes on. Simple types first more complex ones later on. Honest, they are for him.
This tractor is very simple to assemble. A sturdy toy, which I feel will be passed on once he has outgrown it. Amazon pricing was unbeatable as was their delivery.

Fantastic!, 06 Jul 2008
This was bought for my son's 3rd birthday and it is absolutely perfect! It is very sturdy and he has no problems riding it. The sound effect buttons are also really great. Definately a great buy for active little boys who love Thomas!!

I bought this scooter for my 3 year old son, when i built it up I thought it was a little smaller than others I had seen. My son loved it and he was riding up and down the garden as soon as he got it. Unfortunately after only one days light use the rear wheels bracket broke because of a poor design, they have plastic around the axle which will just break. So unless they redesign I would not recommend this item as a toy (O.K for an ornament though)

4 kids and still going strong, 25 Oct 2007
My eldest son was 2 when his Godmother bought him Thomas. He literally shook with excitement and used it constantly for months. Two younger sisters learnt to walk with thomas and use the box under the seat to store their precious cuddly toys. My youngest will be handed the torch in a few months and I expect a similar reaction to a toy that has stood the test of time.
Bomb proof - but battery draining, 02 Oct 2006
We bought this for our eldest son 2 years ago and even with heavy indoor use it looks as good as ever. And now our 1 year old son is starting to toddle he's discovering that it can be used for something more than hiding toys under the flip lid seat :-) The only downside is that both of our little darlings are gadgeteers and love to press the button for the horn and the three batteries are drained inside 2 weeks. If you can get a squeezy press button version then I'd give it 5 stars, but if your only option (but I need the Thomas one!) is the battery version I'd seriously consider removing the batteries as soon as its out of the box and telling your little ones "it's broken / doesn't work / I don't think it's meant to do anything son".
Peep Peep, 03 Apr 2006
Further to the other reviews the manufacturers have changed the horn to a squeezy press one that doesn't require batteries. hurrah. My son loves it and stores all his take along Thomas' in the seat.Easy to put together and looks like it will withstand hours of heavy 'boys' play. Whoo whoo.
A lovely toy, 12 Sep 2005
This was a present we bought for my son's first birthday. It is one of the few toys he is still playing regularly with nearly a year later. The batteries do run out after a few months - but my son loves it just as much without the sound effects. He started by pushing it along, and now sits on it pushing himself up and down making his own train sound effects! An excellent toy - good value considering the hours of entertainment received from it.
Battery, Battery, Battery!, 21 Jun 2005
Where as 99.9% of toys tend to use standard 'AA' batteries, for some wierd reason this uses three watch batteries. When you consider that these batteries cost around £3.00 each and only last for about a week, it's a very expensive toy to maintain. Unless you're happy to be spending £20 a month on batteries, I would avoid this toy.

Roary battey powered car, great fun!, 24 Oct 2008
My two boys aged 2 and 4 love this roary car. Was a bargain when I bought for £60, but pricey when full price. Very easy for the child to use, and the sounds just make it that little bit more fun. Fairly easy to assemble. But remember to charge before giving it to the child as it recommends 8-12 hours for charge!!! Only downside is the stickers on my one aren't stuck down to well so I don't think some of them will last long.

Customer Reviews
Fantastic!, 06 Jul 2008
This was bought for my son's 3rd birthday and it is absolutely perfect! It is very sturdy and he has no problems riding it. The sound effect buttons are also really great. Definately a great buy for active little boys who love Thomas!!
DISAPPOINTED, 22 Oct 2006
I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED THAT APPARENTLY THE ITEMS I CHOSE, SCOOTER AND HELMET CANNOT BE DELIVERED TO MY ADDRESS IN ITALY. ABSOLUTELY AND EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. THESE ITEMS CANNOT BE FOUND IN ITALY OR AT LEAST WHERE I LIVE.
RITA
Acceptable present, 16 Oct 2007
